PHOTOS OF DRUG DEFENDANTS RELEASED

Authorities have released booking photos of five more suspects, who were among eight recently indicted by a Nottoway grand jury on charges of distributing drugs in this county.

A total of 10 suspects were directly indicted on Sept. 7th following months of investigation by the Amelia/Powhatan/ Nottoway/Blackstone Drug & Gang Task Force — consisting of Nottoway Sheriff’s Office, Amelia Sheriff’s Office, Powhatan Sheriff’s Office, Blackstone Police Department, and Virginia State Police.

Two of the 10 drug suspects still remain at large, and Sheriff Robert Jones said they are believed to be out of the immediate area.

The Courier-Record reminds readers that all persons charged with crimes are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Mugshots released by Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville include those of:

Trebor Lamar Banks, age 27, of the 100 block of Cralle St., Kenbridge. Three felony counts of Sell/ Distribute Sch I or II Drug. William Dandridge, age 28, of the 200 block of Sports Lake Road, Cumberland. Two felony counts of Sell/ Distribute Methamphetamine. Daquan Artil Dowtin, age 28, of the 400 block of N. High St., Blackstone. Three felony counts Manuf/ Distrb Sch I/ II, 3rd of Subsequent Offense. Eric Lee, age 24, of the 200 block of Rose Lane, Drakes Branch. One felony count of Possession With Intent to Distribute a Sch I/ II Drug, 3rd or Subsequent Offense. Jordan Alexander Munir, age 23, of the 300 block of Park Ave., Crewe. Four felony counts Sell/ Distribute Cocaine. As reported recently, these three individuals also were indicted. Their photos appeared in our Sept. 21st edition:

Vincent Marquise Anderson, age 60, of the 100 block of Indian Oak Ave, Crewe. Three felony counts of Manufacture/ Distribute Sch I/ II Drug, 3rd or Subsequent Offense. Kristy M. Boswell, age 33, of the 400 block of Rocky Hill Rd, Blackstone. One felony count Distribute/ Sell Sch I/ II ACC Before, one felony count of Sell/ Distribute Sch I/ II Drug, one felony count of Sell/ Distribute Sch IV Drug. Corey Rayshawn Walker, age 25, of the 400 block of N. Sullivan St., Blackstone. Charged with two felony counts Sell/ Distribute Cocaine.
