President’s way out of his league
When Trump was elected in 2016, I accepted his election and didn’t wish him ill feelings but wondered if he had the background to lead our country on the world stage.
Businesses that involve real estate, gambling, and construction are hardly preparation for international diplomacy, medicine, science, education, military planning, agriculture, and constitutional precedent. There are protocols that make governing and negotiating smoother for all parties without making unnecessary gaffes.
It was my hope that he had placed the best minds of the country to advise him. To my dismay, his appointments were people from reality shows, people who had lacked background in the departments they were appointed to lead.
