Courier-Record Readers Express Their Opinions

Just like Forrest said

Dear Sir:

My wife asked me if I have a fever. I told her that if I get sick, I’ll stay in the shed and put a sign at the road for people to stay away! And pray that I make it. That’s all I can do. I’ve had a good life.

When I was a boy -- maybe 15 or so -- I figured that when I got old -- like in my 60s as I am today -- that society would look out for you a little. As it turns-out, we’re the only people who want to actually work! If you snowflakes don’t wake the hell up, you’ll be living in a dumpster!

It’s just like the 1994 movie, Forrest Gump, when Lt. Dan told them two things: “Keep your feet dry and don’t get killed!”
