MEGA-LANDFILL FAR MORE THAN ‘LOCAL ISSUE’
I would expect Delegate Tommy Wright -- since he’s Chair of the State Water Commission and a member of the Agriculture, Chesapeake & Natural Resources Committee -- to take more interest in the harm that will be done to our drinking water and other natural resources if County Waste is allowed to build its proposed 1,200-acre Green Ridge mega-landfill in Cumberland County.
Several of Del. Wright’s constituents wrote to him to bring this matter to his attention and ask for his help to protect their drinking water and environment from this monstrosity.
