The Virginia Constitution allows 60 days for the General Assembly to consider and act on all legislation. Saturday was the last day.
Legislation that should have been passed into law was, as well as a few bills that shouldn’t have been.
The Constitution also requires that the General Assembly must pass a budget every even year. Since the budget didn’t pass, we’ll have to come back to accomplish such.
