Trump seems more interested in photo ops

As I penned this opinion piece, the “Korean Summit” was still on schedule for yesterday (Tuesday, June 12th).

I hope for the sake of North and South Korea, their neighboring countries, and the remainder of the world, that the American delegation is successful at negotiating a treaty which reduces nuclear stockpiles and threats, and opens the door to a freer society for North Korean citizens.

The delegation could use the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action as a template. JPCOA was developed with our major allies -- Britain, France and Germany -- and also included China and Russia. The agreement they reached, that Iran will not build a nuclear weapon, is permanent.
