CREWE WOMEN STEP-UP FOR SHELTER
Members of Crewe Jr. Woman’s Club were moved Thursday night by a presentation from Peggy Miller, M.S., Educator for the Southside Center for Violence Prevention.
The Farmville-based Center oversees domestic violence shelter Madeline’s House and SAVE (Sexual Assault Victim Empowerment).
SCVP is a non-profit organization providing free, confidential and comprehensive services to those affected by sexual and domestic violence. It seeks to empower survivors and create a community free from violence. SCVP provides assistance to anyone affected by sexual and/or domestic violence -- regardless of age, gender, or culture.
