Fueling Math & Science Learning

Kenston Forest School has received two Math & Science grants, totaling $1,000, from Exxon Mobil Corporation’s Educational Alliance program.

Mrs. Bonnie Green (right) of Parker Oil & Propane in South Hill, assisted Kenston with the project. The grants will be applied to teacher training and support materials for the school’s math and science programs, and its initiatives in project-based learning. The grants are two of 4,000 available to schools across the country served by Exxon and Mobil stations. Parker Oil & Propane met stringent eligibility criteria before applying for and being awarded these grants, including having a recognized commitment to providing a superior buying experience for customers.
