‘TWIN TOWERS’ POSSIBLE IN NOT TOWAY

County officials want more info.
A request for a cell phone tower has been sent back by the Board of Supervisors to the Nottoway Planning Commission, which recently declined to make a recommendation.
The request is for a Special Exception zoning permit to allow a 255-ft. tall tower, which would be lighted, on a 52-acre site owned by Shirley Daniel on McCune Road.
The proposed site is located about a quarter mile from an existing 199-ft. tall tower on Fitzgerald Lane.
Tillman Infrastructure is proposing the new tower, which attorney Lisa Murphy of Norfolk says will improve AT&T wireless reception in the area.
