BACK TO THE CLASSROOMS

Primary Sch. students return tomorrow, but many opting-out

TWO DAYS A WEEK IN BLACKSTONE AND CREWE

More than one-third of young Nottoway students will stay at home and continue allvirtual learning when Blackstone and Crewe Primary schools re-open tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 12th) for inperson instruction.

Nottoway County Public Schools have been all-virtual -- except for some Special Ed students and students with special needs -- since opening was delayed in August and classes began Sept. 8th.

Tomorrow, students in grades Pre-K through 4th grade will begin the division’s 2nd nine weeks grading period by returning to school two days a week.

It’s the first time those two schools have been open to all students for classroom instruction since March 13th when the COVID-19 pandemic began arriving here.
