Nottoway School Board members and the audience applauded Thursday night when the division’s preliminary Standards Of Learning (SOL) test scores were released.
“We have seen great improvement in our student achievement,” new Superintendent Dr. Tameshia Grimes smiled.
Four of the county’s five schools are expected to be Accredited by the state -- up from three last year.
Blackstone Primary likely will move from “Accredited With Conditions” to Accredited thanks to gains in English.
