CUBA TO MIAMI TO CREWE
A retired Miami-Dade police Major, whose dream was to serve as a Chief of Police, will lead the Town of Crewe’s PD.
Crewe Town Council voted unanimously Monday night to hire as its next Chief of Police Alfredo “Al” Ferrer, who will begin his duties January 4th at a starting annual salary of $60,000. Ferrer will have one year
Ferrer will have one year to establish a primary residence within a 30-mile radius of Crewe.
“As your newly-appointed Chief of Police,” Ferrer remarked this week, “my goals include bridging the gap between the community, the Town, and our officers through servant leadership roles that exemplify the ‘Back to the Basics’ functions in community policing, partnerships, and investment in our youth.”
