Gravatt farm rezoning wins support of Town planners

Blackstone’s Planning Commission has voted unanimously to recommend approval of two re-zoning requests that would make possible what’s being touted as a $300- $400 million residential and commercial development of the 489-acre Gravatt property on North West Avenue.

The “Austin Woods” proposal by Rick Byers of Glen Allen now moves to Town Council, which has five new members and will hold its first regular meeting next Monday, July 16th, at 7:00 p.m.
