Retired plumber flown to Richmond but improving
VICTIM, 76, HAD BEEN PLACED ON LIFE SUPPORT
The medical outlook has brightened for a well-known Nottoway County man who was seriously injured last week in a tree-cutting accident.
Retired plumber and country music performer Clarence Roark, 76, was struck in the head by a tree limb and knocked unconscious.
The accident occurred last Wednesday morning, Jan. 6th, at 11:30 a.m. on his property in the 500 block of McCune Road.
