School Board Chair Shelli Hinton (left) apologized Thursday night for a comment made in November by member Clive Pettis, who said he wants employees that violate school policies to “fear” for their jobs. Pettis also accused Mrs. Hinton of “pandering.” Pettis participated electronically Thursday night, and he was shown live on a laptop computer while rebutting Mrs. Hinton, who stood by her remarks.
