Jean Connelly Toth, 72, of Blackstone, VA, went to be with her husband, George G. Toth, Jr., and her Eternal Savior, Jesus, on Friday, July 17, 2020.
She is survived by her four children, Mike, Lathan (Carolynne), Ann (Larry Pennell), and George “Bo” Toth III (Mandy); 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary and Johnny Connelly; and a sister, Janice Hyman.
As well as George, Jean is also preceded in death by her parents, Lathan and Margaret Connelly; her daughters, Heidi and Cindy Toth; and her twin sister, Joan Jackson.
She was a dedicated farmer’s wife, mother to many through her delicious meals she prepared and loved watching them eat and wanting more, and was also wellknown for her famous fruitcakes.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Christ Family Outreach, 12300 Five Forks Rd., Amelia, VA 23002. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in Christ Family Outreach with Pastor Lee Day officiating. Burial services will be private. For those attending, all COVID-19 precautions -- to include social distancing and wearing a mask, -- were required.
