Nottoway wins at Amelia, hosts Prince Edward this Friday night

Nottoway picked-up a big James River District football victory Friday night, beating the Amelia Raiders on the road, 31-20.

“It was a good win for our young Cougars,” said Head son , who returned an Amelia fumble 58 yards for a victorysealing TD in the 4th quarter.

Aymon and Willie stepped it up Friday night,” said Pettis . “ Willie had some great punt returns at key moments in the game and sealed it with that fumble recovery. Defensive coordinator Stanley Christopher’s defense continue to keep us in the game. They’re playing lights-out right now.”
