2nd hole-in-one for young golfer

Most golfers play their entire lives without making a hole-in-one.

Will Johnson, 13, now has two.

Johnson, son of Buck & Nikole Johnson of Blackstone, last Thursday (March 19th) aced the par-3 5th hole at Nottoway River Country Club. Johnson holed his 54-degree gap wedge from the Gold (Senior) tees, where the hole measured 100 yards. He was playing with Frankie Winn and Jay Carr. It cam Winn and Jay Carr. It came three days shy of the 6th anniversary of his first hole-in-one.

Johnson’s first ace came on March 22, 2014 -- when he was age 7 playing the 9th hole at Elizabeth Manor in Portsmouth. That feat came during a US Kids Tour tournament.
