Not The Ending They Expected

Blackstone’s Major League baseball All-Stars (ages 12-and-under) were undefeated going into the Championship Round of the District Five tournament in Dinwiddie but lost on two consecutive nights to champion Prince Edward/Farmville, 3-2 on Tuesday (June 25th) and 12-6 in Wednesday’s title game. Runner-up Blackstone, however, still advances to the state tournament and will begin play this Friday (July 5th) at 4:00 p.m. against Hopewell at Neblett Field in Victoria.
