PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice of Initiation of the Section 106 Process-Public Participation in accordance with the FCC’s Nationwide Programmatic Agreement. Waterford Consultants LLC intends to construct a communications facility at 263 E Court House Road, Crewe, Nottoway County, Virginia (Latitude: 37.128943° N and Longitude: -78.079206° W). The facility will include a 300 ft. self-support telecommunications tower and associated equipment. Waterford Consultants LLC is publishing this notice in accordance with Federal Communications Commission regulations (47 CFR § 1.1307) for Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and for the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). PUBLIC HEARING

The Virginia Department of Transportation and the Board of Supervisors of Nottoway County, Virginia, in accordance with Section 33.2-331 of the Code of Virginia, will conduct a joint public hearing in the General District Courtroom at 328 W. Courthouse Road, Nottoway, VA, at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposed Secondary Six-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2026 through 2031 in Nottoway County and on the Secondary System Construction Budget for Fiscal Year 2026. Copies of the proposed Plan and Budget may be reviewed at the Petersburg Residency Office of the Virginia Department of Transportation, located at 4608 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, VA or at the County Administration Office, 344 West Courthouse Road, Nottoway, VA. All projects in the Secondary Six-Year Plan that are eligible for federal funds will be included in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) which documents how Virginia will obligate federal transportation funds.
