The Town of Crewe’s airport runway was damaged by a bolt of lightning last Wednesday evening, July 9th. Town Manager Phil Miskovic provided airport surveillance footage (below) that captured the lightning strike shortly after 6:40 p.m. Manage Miskovic said the runway was closed last week for about an hour while crews repaired the damage.
