Another new business — believed to be the first of its kind here — has opened in downtown Blackstone. Foundation Meal Prep will operate out of the kitchen of “Salt & Love” on West Irvin Street, behind Edgerton Florist. Operators Timmy & Julie Long of Blackstone are shown here cutting ceremonial ribbon in front of the Courier- Record. The Longs are taking orders all week and are open for meal pick-ups on Tuesdays from 4-7 p.m. Foundation Meal Prep meals are high-protein, low fat, affordable, and ideal for those on the go and who don’t have time to cook a healthy meal. Timmy & Julie are 2018 graduates of Nottoway High School and have two sons, Henry, who turns 3 in May; and Jase, 5 months.
