JULY 4TH STREET CLOSURE

FLOYD HILL

FLOYD HILL

Blackstone Town Council for the second straight year has agreed to close Luke Street for a July 4th celebration.

Luke Street resident Floyd Hill received permission from Council to have the street closed that day (Friday, July 4th) from 3-9 p.m. between Amelia Avenue and Freeman Street. Council also agreed to waive the Town’s noise ordinance.

Councilman Nathaniel Miller’s motion was approved, 7-0. Miller noted that there were “no problems” with the social event last year.
