A home security system did its job last week in Nottoway County.
Nottoway Sheriff ’s Office was notified last Wednesday afternoon at 12:21 p.m. of a front door alarm activation on East Courthouse Road west of Blackstone.
According to Sheriff Robert Jones, after making contact with the keyholder, “It was discovered that the alarm had been set-off by a FedEx delivery driver delivering a package. Responding units advised that everything appeared to be secure.”
