State-of-the-Art In 1978

 

It was late April 1978 when the Nottoway Emergency Squad showed-off its recently-purchased $28,992 ambulance. He wasn’t identified in the photo, but we believe that might be E. B. Fisher. The Squad was announcing plans for a fundraiser. The Courier-Record at that time reported, “When the chassis wears-out on this model, the rear working compartment can be removed and used on a new chassis.”
