Why so negative all the time?
Dear Sir:
You know the gloomy feeling that sets in when the weather is cloudy and rainy, day in and day out for an extended period of time? We want to avoid that!
By contrast, when it’s 75 degrees and sunny with low humidity, we feel like all is right in the world! We want more days like that! Aren’t you glad it’s not rainy and cloudy every day of every week?
Everything can’t be bad all the time! So why does one person have negative comments to vent here on a weekly basis? I just don’t understand how the same individual can carry around that much venom for this town and certain of its leaders! If his words were snake bites, we’d be on life support already!
I know everything is not rosy all the time, but relentless criticism is both unpleasant and unproductive! Constant jabs are not clever or cute.
Please join me in being part of the solution for problems and in spreading sunshine and joy as opposed to bitterness and strife!
Let togetherness conquer division, positivity outshine negativity, and love win out over hate!
Be a blessing and not a curse! After all, it’s your choice.

‘Holy moly,’ Mayor!
Dear Sir:
In last week’s paper, the Mayor wrote a letter to the editor and also had a nice photo taken of himself — at church — with another Mayor.
Let’s keep church, church.
Pray for the Town at church and even outside of church. But you can’t ‘save’ the Town until you get rid of the main problems — the Town Manager and some members of Council with apparent or actual conflicts of interest.
Not sayin’ but just sayin’.
Can I get an ‘Amen,’ Mayor?
