Kenston Forest’s middle school girls’ basketball team ended its season with a 10-3 overall record (7-3 VCC) after two road wins last week.
Kenston’s young Lady Kavs beat Isle of Wight Academy, 32-25 last Wednesday, Feb. 11th. Laynee Edmonds and Lauren Hite each scored 14 points in the victory. Emma Meadows scored 2 points against the Chargers.
The next night (Thursday) at Amelia Academy, Kenston prevailed, 31-17. Edmonds scored 13, Hite 8, Ava Fox 4, Alaina Oakes 4, and Leighton Taylor 2.
The Middle School girls were led by Head Coach Kristin Hite, who is compiling quite a winning record for the green and gold.
