The JV Lady Cougars dropped to 5-6 last week after dropping all three volleyball matches last week — two by very close margins.
Nottoway lost at King William 21-25, 26-28; was defeated at home by Buckingham, 14-25, 25-23, 9-15; and was swept at Lunenburg 16-25, 23-25.
Leading JV producers cumulatively for the week included: Meadow Austin with 8 aces, 20 assists, 9 kills, and 26 digs; Vonnie Wright, 10 kills, 9 blocks; Jaden Banks, 20-of-20 serving, 10 kills, 25 digs; Kayleigh Wells, 23-of-27 serving, 7 aces, 10 digs; Raegan Tucker, 29 digs, 7 kills; Sydney Schutt was 21-of-24 serving, and Jaden Elder made 9 digs playing in two matches.
