Nottoway senior wrestler Elliot Waite and teammate, freshman Branson Rorrer, each have advanced to the Class 2 State Championships set for Feb. 20th-21st at the Salem Civic Center.
Waite finished second Saturday in the 150-lbs. weight class during Regional competition at Poquoson.
Rorrer finished 3rd in the 120-lbs. weight class.
Other Cougars placing in the top 6 at Regionals were senior Colton Lewis, who finished 4th in the 165-lb. weight division; and sophomore Josh Greene, who finished 6th in the Heavyweight class.
