Nottoway High School junior Aubrey Wallace (left) was the top seller for this year’s strawberry fundraiser for Nottoway’s chapter of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Aubrey, daughter of Steve & Lisa Wallace of Burkeville, sold 240 containers. Aubrey’s efforts accounted for 20% of the chapter’s sales, according to FFA sponsor and Nottoway Ag teacher Ricky Rash (right).

FREE TREES FOR KIDS

Deadline March 15th to register

This spring, the Nottoway County Public Library is participating in Neighborhood Forest’s 16th Annual free tree program. The program provides free, 6-to-12-inch trees to children each year. Parents must register their children no later than Sunday, March 15th and can do so by going to tinyurl.com/Free- Tree2026 or visiting their local branch.
